C-BRIDGES

C-BRIDGES is the Center for Biological Resource Innovation Derived from Geochemical Environmental Studies, a research program housed at UC Santa Barbara. At C-BRIDGES we merge geochemistry and microbiology toward mitigation of fossil fuel dependency.  We are particularly interested in hydrocarbon ecosystems that exist in the Ocean, and in using nature's blueprints to  produce biological, non-fossil, hydrocarbons.
